I have felt for over a year that a major major conflict (WWIII?) is drawing near. Maybe I'm only stating the obvious.

Russia/China semi-aligned, Russia making these types of moves, China moving on Taiwan, Philippines, etc

We can't even manufacture the chips we need to build cars/trucks

We are at an internally political weak point we haven't been in...i dunno, since the Great Depression. Our populace is so divided that a significant percentage would, at least initially, side with Russia just 'cause "own the libs".

But things in the U.S. are looking better...why wait till we are stronger?
