In America, we do not jail ex Presidents, period. Being President is basically a get out of jail free card for life.

He could face sanctions, he could face fines against his business interests, but jail will never even be on the table.

What people don't get is that jailing Trump would be like Republicans jailing Obama for some made up reason for 40% of the country. They would think of it the same way, even though here we all know Trump is guilty of hundreds of crimes and Obama none.

Can you imagine the violence in the streets if Republicans took control of the government and threw Obama in jail for no reason at all?
