Another Jen Psaki takedown of a RW journalist - OUCH!

11. I want to know HOW and WHY are these propaganda tools allowed to be in the WH press room?

Isn't there some bar of professional integrity that journalists have to rise above in order to even be allowed into that room? Where is the fire, the intelligence, and the knowledge of a Helen Thomas? Helen was no beacon of impartiality--her views were as well known as any of these Fox clones. But she did her homework, knew her facts, and never needed to resort to inserting lies into "questions" in order to get some kind of pre-programmed answer. Presidents and their press secretaries were always terrified of Helen because she always knew what she was talking about at least as well as the people on the receiving end of her questions.

It's well and good that Joe Biden has someone in there who has Psaki's wit, intelligence, and patience with these plants, and puts them down systematically without losing her cool. He chose extremely well. It helps that she is ALWAYS smarter and better prepared with facts than the right wing plants are, and spots their lies every time. But why even give them a platform? There ought to be a required minimum standard of journalistic integrity BEFORE one gets a pass to even be in that room.
