Hi multigraincracker - Indeed some areas are growing and some churches continue to do the true "good works". That's a good thing and points to the battle that needs to be fought - The battle against the rise of the hate preachers. As you can easily find these days, some preachers have twisted the loving message of the New Testament into a hateful message. In doing so they are taking parishioners into the deep dark side of right wing politics.
