3. At age 90+, my father had alienated me and my siblings.

He was too old to golf.

He was a widower.

Most of his friends had died. He was so desperate for company, that he reconciled with a former BFF whom he purged from his life in 1969. Then he died.

He had nobody -- except the dolt neighbor across the street. The neighbor was/is one year older than me. He walked my father's dog; the dog did nothing; and the dog proceeded to shit all over the house when returned. When I bent over to remove the dried dog shit, my father yelled at me to leave it alone.

Social alienation also drew him to FOX "News" as the shows/hosts/Newt became his new friends.

When he died, my father's estate was worth $1.5 million +. He disinherited me and my siblings. The bulk of the estate went to four charities (but hey! I have a free library card forever now!). And the dolt neighbor got a pay-out of $35,000.
