6. It was going to be another huge grift.

Because world leaders would be attending, the motel would need to be in tip-top condition. Painted inside and out, expensive carpet in every room and the public areas. New furniture, redone bathroom fixtures -- gold, naturally -- and lighting fixtures, upgrade the kitchen and replace the dishes with plates bearing the Presidential Seal (and his signature on every plate and piece of silverware, of course).

Then we move to the exterior, with a complete make-over of the lawn, trees and flowering plants. And of course the golf course would have to be completely redone.

Thanks to the pandemic we dodged a major bullet.
