Swiss made test strips tripled in price. I was able to research, find the new test strips the company was recommending as an alternative, and find her strips at 1/10th the price from Amazon. My sister couldn't understand why I wanted her to change products, and was terrified to try a new 'finger poker'... When you're taking care of someone you love and companies turn their world upside-down, it's a nightmare. Her insulin pins that she can manage on her own have gone up... Her co-pay is just under $200 a month. I used to give her her shots, but she is scared of needles and would jerk and you know how painful that is for her and me, because it hurts her and bruises her.

Taking care of my sister is a blessing and an honor. I just want companies to make it easier, and folks to understand... Us who use Amazon aren't monsters.
