The difference between the DEM vac rate and GOP vac rate is going to effect races in three ways:

1. The loss of a vote
2. The loss of votes of some surviving family and friends of a deceased loved one.
3. The loss of votes of some people who realize they were lied to and are looking at hospital bills in the 100,000's of dollars

I believe the turn around of the GOP "leadership" on promoting vaccines is all about this political calculus. The GOP has never shown any concern for the health of it's constituents, but they pay close attention to elections that keep them in power.
