The overreactions are quite disturbing and alarming. Have these people ever experienced any great abuse or violation of human rights? Perhaps they should visit some authoritarian states and see what real oppression and censorship is like.

This isn't about their precious freedom, it is about their self-centered need to do whatever they want with no regard to the needs and wants of other people. Living in a civilized society requires certain rules and structure, and a government to maintain that structure. You change those rules through elections, not childish temper tantrums.
