49. Yup. Evacuating a country during a Civil War is very very messy -

especially messy because we backed the losing side.

The past 2 days did not happen in a vacuum.

It is just the RW Corporate backed MEDIA and Neocons on both sides who are trying to make President Joe look bad and deflect the blame from THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!

The military was blindsided by the SPEED of the collapse of the Afghan Army. They are dong the BEST they can under the circumstances, and diplomatic efforts (plus wielding a BIG STICK by our General on the ground at the airport) are thus far keeping the worst of the Taliban at bay.

We were NEVER there to fight for Women's rights. We were NEVER there to stop the Opium trade.

We were there to PROTECT CORPORATE assets like oil pipelines. The rest is simply kabuki fed to us by the 1%.
