Justice Kennedy forced them to water down Heller. He isn’t around anymore and Roberts can vote no if he wants, as they have 5 that would likely vote down a ban. Kavanaugh has already stated he believes that semi-autos are common use.

So no, I don’t have a legal degree, but I don’t need one to see where this will go anymore than one does not need to own a gun to have an opinion on gun control.
