15. It Might Be Worse Than You Think

Seriously, it might be worse than you think. Have you seen Kasie Hunt's tweets about the California recall? She did not criticize the Republican Party for wasting people's time with another unnecessary recall election. No, she bashed Gavin Newsom and questioned the Democratic Party. Hunt tweeted that Newsom got caught be an elitist while everyone else suffered. She also tweeted that the Democratic Party now had to prove it could govern for everyone. She said some other things, but I cannot remember those tweets.

Once again, she offered no criticism of the Republican Party. She did not say, maybe this election should be a warning sign to Republicans. Maybe aligning themselves with Trump is a bad idea. She did not question why a guy like Larry Elder, with his view became the leading Republican candidate in the recall election. She did not say, with Elder's defeat, Republican Party leaders need to prove they can bring the party back from the extreme.
