In reply to the discussion: My daughter was scheduled to have her pregnancy [View all]House of Roberts

My second step-granddaughter turned one in August. The baby's mother stayed home from her job as long as her leave lasted, then my ex, the baby's grandmother, took over daily care while the parents work five days a week. Even though care is in the home, I worry all the time she will get the virus, since children that young are unable to be vaccinated. Even as I am only peripheral to their household I could get the virus myself, give it to my ex, since she has to stay in my house, and she could infect the baby. Her wife could also get sick and it get to the baby that way. Either of the parents could get it and bring it home from work. It's just scary.
