The amendment failed without her vote, and it had already been ruled as not germaine for the reconciliation bill. Biden acknowledged that and dropped it.
Bernie had no business introducing the amendment except to showboat.
And I think the thumbs down thing was just "her voting thing" - I've seen her do similar for other bills, both voting for and against. I'm reasonably sure it's because McCain did it.
But man, what a shitty look.
