their jobs. Very few comparatively are losing them, and most of those are retiring, don't value their jobs, or otherwise don't have to work.

This is a messy handling of an unprecedented civil disorder, but otherwise necessary practice for when the next deadly epidemic disease threatens. Which is inevitable, and sooner rather than later. Many of those epidemiologists fear are far more deadly than SARS2, and/or target children, but with any luck at all tRump will not be president when it or they arrive.
