I'm not sure where and when Mr. Mitchell grew up, but when I was a young man I was almost singularly obsessed with pursuing young ladies with whom I could "practice" this act of procreation.
Now I find that it was all the young lady's responsibility whether those "practice sessions" took place at all. 
I had absolutely no say in the matter whatsoever!
So it was all those wiley women who led my poor Momma's son astray! 
If I'd only known then what I know now.
