Unfortunately, global humanity is too territorial and nationalistic to agree on doing anything as a global population effort. The global right-wing is humanity's biggest enemy and they think on a very short-term, selfish basis.

However, the U.S. has the influence and power to lead that effort but only if we can keep Republicans out of power.
