That doesn’t cleanse them, but maybe a few who were going along for the ride realized how bad it was. Certainly not many. Most who saw it fail are spending their time trying to white wash the whole thing. I really can’t think of any of the power players involved who’ve completely disavowed TFG and the rioters. People like Cheney and Romney had already started distancing themselves.
