(16,838 posts)It's hard to find any sympathy for people like Stockton and Lawrence, but I'm glad they're talking. Running out of money can make people lose faith pretty quickly. Hope they have some incriminating knowledge that isn't already known by the committee. I think they'll probably spill their guts.
I hope there's enough evidence to have Trump indicted soon. It's going to be controversial, to say the least, when it happens. Will the Garland Justice Department have the gumption to go as far as the case needs to be taken? I'm not sure what to think about that. I admit I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly Bannon was indicted and how that all seems to be progressing. Looks like we're going to see a lot of action in the new year.
I hope there are enough people like Stockton and Lawrence who are disenchanted with Trump, and that resistance to Trump's prosecution isn't as strong as it might have been before. We're seeing a lot of information come out, and people are examining the evidence and maybe re-thinking some of what they thought they knew. Still, there are people like Tucker Carlson out there who are still stirring up the diehards. Guess we'll find out how many of those are left. Could be some perilous times coming.
