Dems lose an election and it's all about how they can't connect with rural voters.

Reps lose an election and no comment on how they can't connect with urban voters.

Dems win an election, it's not a mandate

Reps (win) an election, it's a mandate

And on and on...

In the end what Reps have said about blue areas is divisive. Palin saying Northern Va wasn't really America, attacks on Massachusetts, Berkely, etc.

I haven't seen many Dems get up and spout off about how inbred and illiterate certain red areas are.
