49. I spent some time a few days ago looking for a trustworthy mask.

My cloth masks are sufficient for delta, but not Omicron. I quickly found there were a lot that called themselves KN95 or KN94 - but since I knew there were fakes I started looking for ways to sort the fakes from the real ones.

The problem with the ASTM F3502 is more fit than filtration. That seems to be the standard for surgical/procedure masks - and the problem with them is the construction. In order to be tall enough to cover nose to chin, none (or at least none I've found) are short enough at the outer edges to avoid cheek gaps.
