4. Define democracy

What people mean by "losing our democracy" is often specific to the person and their own views of things. Do you mean a lack of elections? Do you mean permanent rule by one party?

What does a loss of democracy look like?

I'd argue that corporations have already functionally hijacked our democracy, and our politicians and an election system based on money have functionally check-mated the representational republic. We'll get crumbs, but we cannot meaningfully move forward unless corporations want us to. They allow us just enough and keep us just comfortable enough so that we don't actually revolt.
