107. My sentiments exactly!

I used to be a caring person who sympathized with people who got Covid. But the last two years have changed all that. Now I don't give two shits either. I'm so sick of the stupidity. Over 900,000 Americans have died from this virus and the number keeps getting higher but a large swath of our population still refuses to get vaccinated, wear masks or social distance! They smugly call those of us who follow the science "sheep" and mock our attempts to not spread the disease. They proudly go on social media and brag how they will "Never get the jab!" & claim those that do are "gullible idiots."
But when they get Covid and end up in the hospital many STILL refuse to believe they have the virus and demand the medical staff tell them what they "REALLY have". "It's just the flu right?" And those that do believe it DEMAND to be treated with ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine and threaten the staff when they don't get it! These people are fucking morons and I can't stand it! They are clogging up our hospitals and the nurses are being overwhelmed! I have a friend who needs hip surgery but it had to be postponed because our local hospitals are all full over anti-vax cretins with Covid! So she has to suffer! It's not right!
And the arrogance of them also drives me nuts. My girlfriend's 26 yr old daughter is an anti-vax fanatic who follows right-wing media. She was outraged last Christmas because she couldn't go visit her 90+ year old grandparents in their retirement community because it requires anyone visiting to be vaxxed and wear masks. (Both of which she refuses to do because---"freedom".) But she bitched about it saying, "They are preventing me from seeing my grandparents at Christmas! It's NOT FAIR!" Yes it is fair you idiot! Why should elderly people be forced to take a chance of you infecting them? You're just a selfish jerk! (I so wish I could say that to her.) And so many of them are like that! Hell they even storm vaccine clinics and DEMAND that they stop giving out vaccines!
They're all fucking crazy! I honestly smile when I read about one of them dying of Covid like that stupid State Trooper. I just read an article about a guy who desperately needs a kidney transplant but needs to be vaxxed to get the transplant but he refuses to saying, "I would rather die than get the vaccine!" Fine! Die then, ya jackass! I am so over caring about these people.
We truly are a nation of anti-science asshats who refuse to believe the evidence in front of them whether it's about global warming, the Covid pandemic or homosexuality. Their motto is "Don't confuse me with facts! My mind is made up!"
