Abbott is very unpopular right now so polling will show a closer race as many repugs do not want to answer the poll supporting him. I think Beto would be a great governor but he shot himself in the foot with his stance on guns. That might work in New York but not in Texas. Redistricting will not affect the governor's race but voter suppression efforts will. My reaction to the poll and level of undecided tells me that Abbott will win easily. Lawrence knows that but hr is just manufacturing a news hour.
