I've listened to Kenyatta before. He was a staunch supporter of Joe Biden during the 2020 election, and he's an impressive speaker, the sort that makes your ears perk up. I have no doubt he'll have a long, successful career.

The only exception I'd make to some of Kenyatta's comments Monday night was accusing Fetterman of posing as a 'white savior' when he talks about his mayoral tenure in Braddock. Thought that remark was a cheap shot and I've never gotten that vibe from Fetterman. Yes, the man is proud of what he and the community accomplished and started to turn around. But I've never picked up any arrogance in those stories or a me, me, me white man attitude. Quite the reverse actually.

On the other hand, yes, if life were fair no GOP candidate would be competitive for dog catcher, anywhere, ad infinitum.
