He blew off the idea of background checks because of some pretty lame-sounding reasons. If the background checks didn't do enough, (background checks on parents of young shooter but not of the shooter himself, etc) WHY aren't they fine-tuning the background check process.

it's always the sidecar canard - "Mental health! Mental health! Mental health!"

MAN-oh-MAN am I EVER sick and tired of THAT one!
