here's the thing..the J6 committee's sole purpose is to tell the story of January 6..Merrick Garland is tasked with terrorism (both foreign and domestic,) civil rights, tax laws, illegal drugs, gun and explosives violations (ATF), organized and violent crime, immigration, overseeing the FBI, Federal Bureau of Prisons, the US Marshall Service...and sedition and insurrection...

Garland is doing just fine..
