People don’t seem to realize that SCOTUS interprets the constitution. So you can say “well X can never happen because the constitution says Y”.

The constitution says whatever SCOTUS says it says. If they say nothing in the constitution entitled you to a TV and they should all be destroyed, then all the TVs get destroyed.
