more Democratic-dominated states are moving. Georgia gets a lot of people from the northeast. Well, they've been inviting them to come by getting companies to move there and create jobs, so they did. They've been coming into Arizona from the upper Midwest for a long time, and even from the Northeast, but California is the biggest source of new residents in both Arizona and Nevada. And that has slowly resulted in a shift from provincial and backward to progressive and forward thinking majorities. The state legislature still has some work to do on getting into more modern times but the gerrymandering will eventually be overwhelmed by the population growth.
