This is just a lesson from my mom that stuck with me.
Back in '81, when Reagan was shot, my friend and I had stopped by my house to pick up something (I don't remember what) for some after-school activity. The Reagan shooting came on the TV and my friend said "Good!" My mother lit into her as if she had been the one to pull the trigger.
Let me add, my mother was NEVER a Reagan fan.
But she was a person who tried to live her life in the "WWJD?" example. She wasn't perfect, but the world was truly a better place with her in it--for everyone that knew her.
