Stupidity is the Republican's Primary Strategy [View all]
Or so it seems to me. The Republicans have been actively recruiting stupid and ignorant people. Why? Because they'll vote as they are told without actually thinking about what they're being told. Evidence for this can be found in the widespread beliefs of so many Republicans. Things like:
There is No Global Climate Change Evolution Has No Evidence Science Is Always Suspect Obama is a Muslim America Is Turning into a Socialist Country Obama is Responsible for High Gas Prices Fox News is Fair and Balanced Everything Wrong is Caused by Illegal Immigrants Most People with Brown Skin Are Here Illegally Obama Wants to Take Away Your Guns Private Insurance Is the Answer to Healthcare Medicare is Bankrupting the Country And so on and so on. Those memes have been circulated and recirculated by Republicans everywhere. They're fed to willfully ignorant and stupid people who then post them on Facebook and send them around in forwarded emails. It's the Republican's growth strategy. Spread bullshit by getting willfully ignorant and stupid people to do the grunt work. Until the Republican Party gives up this notion that the nation can be run by morons, they are doomed to fail. I heartily encourage the Republican Party to continue on this path.
