More than a quarter of Republicans approve of the January 6 Capitol attack, according to a new poll. More than half think the deadly riot was a form of legitimate political discourse.

More than 1/4 of Repubs approve of the attack, and "more than half" think it was legitimate political discourse. More than half of who? Half of all Republicans or half of the ones who said they "aporoved"?

It doesn't add up either way. If half the Repubs polled said it was legit political discourse, wouldn't that mean half of them approved of it? How does someone "approve" of the attack unless they think it was legit political discourse, and vice versa?

Like I said, I'm confused! 🤔
