The flip side of that coin would be voters having the backs of legislators who vote in favor of reasonable regulation of firearms, just like the Second Amendment says. But though Popovich didn't specify, you and I both know he's talking about Republican legislators. Which means it's up to Republican voters to protect their own. Since nothing has been done to this point, I don't feel any obligation to protect Republican legislators from their own fanatical voters. They've been cultivating this dilemma for decades. We've warned them for years this was a bad path, but they sneered, they scoffed, they taunted, they exulted in every defeat we suffered. And they stubbornly stayed on their path as the bodies piled up and piled up.

Fuck 'em. I'm done with trying to change hearts and minds. We have a solid majority of voters behind us. Let's act like we win this issue, and start getting some sanity back in our society.
