57. Where would we be without underpants?

But a seriouz question:

Do all posts have to be intelligent, on topic, be insightful and add to the dignity of DU and a thread?

Or can they be banal, off the cuff, and just plain stupid?

I only ask because I'd like to get up there on the post count, but I don't think I can maintain (develop?) some semblance of human intelligence over a long period.
