You have to go back weeks to see the true picture regarding cases and deaths.

The best I can tell is that we are still having about 100 people die from covid each day in the United States. That's over 36,000 a year. Not at panic levels yet, but still that's a lot of people who won't be around to celebrate the holidays next December.
