Garland is paralyzed by fear of not seeming bi-partisan and treats Dems like dogs and helps R's every way possible.
It seems a little unfair to me to make assumptions about the man's mental state and motivations, much less accuse him of deliberate duplicity that is, imo, not supported by the facts.
I do think he tries hard (maybe a little too hard) to appear nonpartisan, but I dont think any of us is a position to know whether he's "paralyzed by fear" or motivated by something else entirely.
Furthermore, I think accusing him of deliberately showing favoritism to Republicans is going too far. I don't understand or agree with a number of Garland's choices, but I don't see him bending over backwards to help Republicans. If making the Repubs happy was his chief concern, it seems odd to me that he would ever have appointed a bulldog like Jack Smith to investigate TSF. Did he take too long to do it? I can't help but think so, but I don't claim to know why he waited as long as he did.
The current situation is not what we would have hoped for, but I prefer to focus on the positives, such as the 91 criminal indictments and the fact that Jack Smith is doing an excellent job. The election is coming up too fast for comfort, but all is not lost YET, and I think giving up hope is the worst mistake we could make right now.
Do I agree with every decision Garland has made? Hell, no. Do I wish things were moving a lot faster. Hell, yes! Do I think Garland is a conniving snake who has shown favoritism to the Republicans at every turn? Absolutely not, and I see substantial evidence to the contrary.
Being frustrated and impatient is completely understandable right now. It's hard. Sometimes I feel like punching holes in the wall myself. But I am not about to give up hope, and neither should you or anyone else.
P.S. I am with you on Judge Aileen "Loose" Cannon, and I hope she gets kicked off the case.
