The American Humanist Association, have been going to court for decades for your stated reason. It starts with relatively small skirmishes like Christian Only clubs in pubic schools or the Lord's Prayer at public Board of Education meetings. Our Establishment Clause (First Amendment) cases have been whittled down under the ruse of "accommodation".

Non-Protestant Christian religions (e.g., Judaism, Catholicism, Islam, the Bahai religion, Hinduism, etc.) have benefitted from these lawsuits as they remain minimally persecuted because of their faiths.
