4. I wonder if this was the origin of a question that had my reenactment group puzzled last weekend.

I am part of a Revolutionary War unit that portrays one of Col. Lamb's artillery companies, of which there were 12 total in the 2nd Continental Artillery Regiment. We fly the 'Bunker Hill' flag that is also sometimes called the 'Flag of New England' which has an Eastern White Pine symbolizing liberty. Someone came up and asked us why we were flying a Christian Nationalist flag, and we we were completely puzzled in how the hell did someone make that connection? Mind you, we are dressed in period gear, including breaches, waist coats, frock coats, and tri-corn hats, with two cannons out front that we fired every hour or so for spectators.
