For those wondering why Harris doesn't say more about Trump's criminal trials and his guilt, it is because she is a sitting VP, and the White House does not weigh in on--and prejudice--a pending criminal case by speaking of a defendant's guilt. So when the crowd chants "Lock Him Up", she wisely quips "we will leave that to the courts; what we are going to do is beat him at the ballot box." By doing that, she is serving to protect the criminal case going forward.
