They do appear to be parodies of radical feminists, abuse survivors advocates, and animal rights extremists to me. Part of me hopes its a screwed up joke because if the poster really feels this extreme anger over Superman screwing up, it's really sad.
The claim it triggered memories of 9/11 is pretty OTT. I'm not sure I want to believe what was posted. Now... contrast that with someone who post newborn squirrel pics, rainbows and sweet but corny kitty jokes.
Very odd dust up, to say the least. SMH.
I think it's nice Salmon is getting a lot of love right now. He's always been about trying to make people smile- a totally underrated quality in my book.
