Can you believe we're here again? [View all]

Can you believe we're here once again with Trump as the Republican nominee for President, already sowing doubts about the election and claiming it will be rigged unless he wins.

We're headed towards a 2020 redux. Trump and his consigularies are already filing lawsuits to dispute the results in the swing states.

The January 6th coup attempt is still ongoing. Trump is counting on MAGA lawmakers and judges to declare him the winner even if he loses in a landslide.

I know Teflon Don gets away with everything. But on January 6th, 2021 I thought he was finished politically. That he would be impeached, convicted by the Senate and barred from ever running for public office again.

But here we are. 4 years later and the insurrectionist is a coin flip away from sitting in the White House again.

Senate Republicans totally failed this nation. Sometimes voters need protection from internal threats they don't understand. If Trump had been barred from running again back in February 2021 his supporters would have been mad but eventually they would have moved on to another candidate.

Mitch McConnell and 9 other Senators could have ended Trump's political career. Instead we're still stuck in the same spot we've been in since 2015. With Donald Trump threatening to destroy democracy if he doesn't get anointed as the leader of the
free world and given absolute power.

Trump’s reign of terror is like a nightmare this country cannot wake up from. Sadly millions of voters seem to prefer living in the darkness.
