I fractured an ankle. It was a bad break, and required surgery. So I know what you're going through, and how miserable it was. The good news is that all the rest was worth it, because my ankle now works without problem.
I now vote my mail in the Chicago area, where I expect my ballot won't be subject to dirty tricks. Despite that, I have been climbing the walls about getting my ballot. A few hours ago, I got an email saying that it's now in the mail. I'm relieved.
Anyway, I love that I can come to DU and share my anxiety over this election...and many other things. I've been here 23 years, and if it suddenly disappeared, I don't know what I'd do. DU keeps me sane.
