In 2025 I hope to God that’s all he wants to do and won’t have much use for governing. Best case scenario is that he IS tired and doesn’t have the will to act on his worst impulses, maybe his age will work in our favor.

Perhaps the best thing we could be doing right now to jump-start the sabotage of his second term is by playing on his paranoia to discourage the Vances and Musks out there from holding any real power; convince him they are going to try and revolt on him at the first hint of a head cold.

A cabinet of dunces and yes-men who are more interested in photo-ops could be about the best we can hope for. If the head of DHS is some clown whose idea of mass deportations is a fluff piece on Fox over the arrests of three Haitians for shoplifting then go for it. Trump can sell that to his base all day long.

Unfortunately while his base is stupid enough to lap up the dog and pony shows Putin and China will have other ideas.
