That's the gist of a lot of Western reporting, apparently, in keeping with Western thinking and goals.

But now they turn to other areas not under hateful-regime control and the question will have to be for the next 40 days--do the American soldiers in the war zone support the Kurds and get involved to help those deemed allies or do they just evacuate and abandon the Kurds?
