So - "The Grapes of Wrath" by Steinbeck is now a banned book [View all]

in some circles. I read this in high school. Thankfully, I read a lot of great books in high school. I didn't realize how lucky I was.

We already know that the current administration and its "Christian" counterparts are anti-scientific. No evolution. Pretty soon they won't believe in DNA or gravity because they won't teach it in these Christian schools.

No great literature, no science, no history- or a totally distorted history. I can't even imagine what social studies and government will look like.

The next generation will not be prepared to think. They will only be able to function under authoritarianism.
