As of tomorrow morning, 1/20, I will be checking in here first thing. Is he dead yet? No? Ok, buh bye. I can’t do anything (73, not being a protester, living in Trumplandia so have to hide from local MAGA so as not to be shot myself) about the chaos and havoc and despicable acts he engages in. I have a life, and I will stay with it here at my house with my dogs, my knitting, movies, classical piano music while reading. The only trump-related thing I care about is if he is FINALLY dead.
I am very sorry if people in all the other countries think this is what Americans want. I considered buying full-page ads in all the major papers in the biggest cities in those countries to explain that decent people here are horrified, mortified, and utterly embarrassed about what has happened. But that would probably get me shot by MAGA, so I guess not.
