My brother works for the government and got one of those buy- out letters. He's basically an accountant, no political threat to Trump whatsoever. I've been kidding him that he is part of the deep state.

It's interesting knowing someone on the receiving end of this Project 2025 madness. One thing he told me is that morale in his office is very low. Even those who support Trump are having a hard time feeling good about what has been going on.

His intention is to keep working and not take the buy-out, but his life will be uncertain until everything is settled.

My new nickname for him (affectionately of course) is "Deep State".
