I found this just now on Facebook. Not for the weak-hearted, but it made me feel better after reading it.

41. I honestly can relate to President Zelenskyy

I have been ambushed in exactly that manner. My last job, I got called the managers office. Unsuspectingly I arrived at the office full of about 6 others including one of the people who was supposed to report to me. I thought we were going to have a meeting about policy or a project, nope!
They started in on me accusing me of a blowup one day in the office. When I finally figured out what they were yelling about, it was quite different than they were telling.

But I sat there and let them make asses of themselves. When they asked me if I had anything to say, I just kept my mouth shut. No use making an ass of myself.
I left the shitshow with my mind made up. I was done working there.
What they didn’t know is I had been recruited by another employer, even had an interview and an offer on the table. I called them that day asked them when they would like me to start. Wrote my resignation that night, turned it into the owner of the company who was shocked.
I left that situation to a job with better people and a significant increase in salary.

So when I saw that interview, I had flashbacks.
