I know exactly what you're talking about & I think most sane people are strugglimg to varying degrees with the same issues.
Have you tried limiting the time you spend watching the news or reading it.
Find something you enjoy & do it, even if it's just walking in nature.
Join a gym & work out? Watch funny movies? Volunteer somewhere a few hrs a week?
Just a few ideas for you to consider to help you shift your focus away from things you cannot control to things you can control.
