In the primaries, Democrats should take note of candidates positions. Since this issue will be high on my list, I hope there will be a Democratic candidate who is not afraid to confront this issue, who will pursue a real solution, and who can communicate clearly about the issue. This is one reason I hope AOC runs for President. I know I can trust her on this issue. But Social Security is a fundamental Democratic program. Every Democratic candidate should be prepared to fight for it, without compromise.

In the election voters should take note of Democratic vs Republican positions. This issue should weigh heavily with every voter.
